What we collect

When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect your name, email address, company (if provided), the message you write, and any website or LinkedIn link you choose to share, along with a record that you agreed to this policy and when.

With that submission, we also record how you found the site and some basic technical context: the campaign tags in the link you first arrived from (such as utm_source), the website that referred you (domain only), the first page you landed on and the page you submitted from, your device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop), your browser family (such as Chrome), and your country. We don't store your IP address; we keep only a one-way scrambled code derived from it, used to block repeated spam submissions. To make sure we can reply, we also check that your email address's domain is set up to receive email (a public DNS lookup; nothing is sent to you or anyone else to do this).

To make that possible, your browser keeps a small record of how you first arrived on the site (the campaign tags, referring website, and first page above). It stays on your device and is sent to us only if you submit the contact form. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, or you're visiting from the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we don't keep this record at all. If you book a call, we also receive the booking's time, time zone, status, and your name and email from Cal.com.

Separately, this site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate. It doesn't use cookies and isn't linked to anything you submit. We don't use advertising trackers or tracking cookies.

How we use it

Submitted information is used only to respond to your inquiry and, if you choose to proceed, to scope and deliver the requested work. We don't sell your information, share it with third parties for their own marketing, or add you to a mailing list without your separate, explicit consent.

Who processes it

These service providers handle information you submit through this site on our behalf:

• Resend: delivers the email notification we receive when you submit the contact form, and the confirmation email sent to you.
• Vercel: hosts this website and the serverless function that receives your submission.
• Supabase: hosts the database (in the United States) that stores contact-form submissions and booking records so we can track and respond to each inquiry.
• Cal.com: if you choose to book a call after submitting the form, Cal.com handles the booking and the details you enter there, under its own privacy policy.
• Microsoft Teams: hosts booked calls. Microsoft processes meeting data, such as your name, email, and call details, under its own privacy statement.

We don't use any other third-party processor for data submitted through this site today. If that changes, this policy will be updated to name it.

How long we keep it

We keep submitted information for as long as reasonably needed to respond to your inquiry and, if an engagement follows, to deliver it. Specifically: if you don't become a client, your information is deleted automatically 24 months after your last contact with us; submissions identified as spam are deleted after 30 days; client records are kept for the duration of the relationship. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time (see below).

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you've submitted at any time by emailing hello@clarusiq.com. If you're located in the EU, UK, or a US state with its own privacy law (such as California), you may have additional rights under that law; we'll honor a request made under it on the same basis as any other request above.

Changes to this policy

If how we collect or use information changes in a meaningful way, we'll update this page and change the effective date above.
